Leather is the foundation of every Altered 71 piece. Each collection is selected for its distinctive texture, structure and hand feel. Because finishes vary, every leather will wear and age differently.

Leather Collections

  • Oxford Leather

    Our primary notebook leather, available in the broadest range of colors. Supple, durable and designed for everyday use.

  • Natural Vegetable Tan Leather

    Unfinished leather that will darken, mark and develop a distinctive patina with use.

  • Pebble Grain Leather

    A soft, flexible leather with a pronounced textured grain, selected for our Portfolio Inserts.

  • Saffiano Leather

    A structured portfolio leather with a distinctive crosshatch texture and more uniform appearance.

Natural Variation Is Expected

Grain, texture and color may vary slightly from hide to hide. Some leathers show more natural character than others, while more finished leathers have a more consistent appearance. These differences are part of the material and are not considered defects.

Leather Care

Keep your notebook away from prolonged moisture and excessive heat. Wipe gently with a clean, dry cloth when needed. Because leather finishes differ, contact us before applying conditioners or cleaning products.
